01. About Me

I'm a Software Development Engineer at Amazon Web Services based in Santa Clara, CA, as part of the Network State Manager (NSM) team which owns and operates a large-scale distributed system that vends authoritative networking data for all AWS data centers worldwide.

I graduated from UCLA with a B.S. in Computer Science (GPA: 3.76) and have been building production-grade systems since my internship at AWS in 2022. I'm most energized by backend engineering challenges — distributed systems, event-driven data pipelines and analysis, and cloud infrastructure.

Outside of work, I enjoy playing chess, making games, and discovering new music on Spotify.

Owned and operated components of a large-scale distributed system vending authoritative networking data for all AWS data centers worldwide.
Designed and implemented an SNS/SQS-based eventing pipeline for near real-time data propagation, reducing API call volume by 15%.
Built infrastructure transforming unstructured network entity data into optimized data models, enabling efficient API access and storage for 1B+ daily requests from internal AWS services.
Authored and maintained thousands of lines of IaC using AWS CDK and CloudFormation to provision production-grade resources including IAM, Secrets Manager, S3, SQS/SNS, CloudWatch, and deployment pipelines.
Designed and implemented a CLI to query networking data across 50+ AWS regions concurrently, reducing investigation and operational workflows from hours to minutes.
